Dad Vail Regatta Corporate Challenge

The Dad Vail Regatta Corporate Challenge is an exhilarating, competitive opportunity for corporations in the greater Philadelphia region to become part of and to compete in, the largest US intercollegiate regatta of the year.

The Corporate Challenge is a 500-meter race. Each crew registering to compete will enter an eight-oared shell boat with rowers comprised of at least three members from each gender. The ninth member of the boat will be a coxswain.

Crews are responsible for arranging their own equipment such as shells and oars and making arrangements to launch their shells.

For each race category, gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the first, second and third-place respective champions and each rower will receive a t-shirt for competing.

The Corporate Challenge offers a tremendous opportunity for building teamwork, obtaining media exposure and providing networking opportunities for your organization. Entry fees are $1000 per boat and all proceeds benefit the Dad Vail Regatta, a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania non-profit corporation Federally exempt from income tax under IRC Section 501(c)3., Community Rowing in Philadelphia, and winners of the Annual Dad Vail Art Poster Contest.

This year’s event will be staged in Philadelphia on the Schuylkill River course mid-day on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Simply log onto RegattaCentral and page through to the Corporate Challenge page to register now.
